Keepsakes to Make from Your Baby's Clothes from disneybaby.com/blog

I haven’t finished my winter garland yet, but I so want to complete a Valentine’s Day shadow box for my sweet husband. I have been imagining what it would take to complete said shadow box and even got to the point where I was about to order pre-punched hearts from Etsy to complete the DIY Project. It was then that I realized that the heart shadow-box just might not happen this year.

That doesn’t stop my creative juices flowing. No way! It just means I have to re-prioritize and lovingly gaze upon some fellow crafters who have completed some really fabulous projects.

I’m not sure how long these conversation hearts will last in a shadow box and I might be tempted to give them a coat of satin varnish before attaching them to the cardboard heart. Of course I would test on a single heart before varnishing a whole piece, but what an extremely creative idea.

I am SO GLAD to have come across this! My son has been banging his head against the wall trying to think of something he can make for his girlfriend and this is the answer!! I am also excited because this would be a great use of that bag of Scrabble pieces that are missing tiles to reuse to make Christmas decor and gifts! I think this idea could be used for all holidays and other gifting times! Thanks so much!
