Spring Trend: Black and White
One of this Spring’s Hottest Trends is Black and White. From Stripes and Chevron to Polka Dots and Shapes, Black and White is in. I certainly don’t want to miss out on this one. I just love the mix of these two neutrals together.
It’s not just standard black pants and a white shirt, which certainly fit the bill. It is fun and playful and a reminder to step outside the box for a second and play with pattern, even if it’s not in color.
While technically this isn’t a fashion blog, I love to take inspiration from the runway and use it in my Craft and DIY projects. I have a few plans on the horizon, a cork board painting project using black and white and an update of my boring black serving tray, which with a coat of paint will be totally on trend.
We don’t always have to walk the runway, it is sometimes just enough to bring a little of it into our home. Those shorts from AX Paris and the clutch from LULUÂ GUINNESS are super-cute though. I might be able to work those in on the weekend.

I am not a huge fan of stripes but I do love that skirt and top at the bottom right and the polka dot shoes. Like I need more black and white in my closet…lol.
I love black and white together. As black has a slimming effect, I have a lot of clothing in this color. To me, these colors say professional and in my line of work, that is called for.
Wow I never thought I would be with it, but I wore black and white yesterday to the mall! I have to say I haven’t really seen that trend down there yet but odly there really weren’t a lot of new stuff stocked yet just a lot of winter season mark downs.
I renewed an old carpet with a b&w chevron look, a basic DIY, and it’s great now. Everybody loved it.
Thank goodness, since most of my maternity clothes are black/white patterns this works out well for me
